Slalom
The diesel is actually the old randy harris board with a removeable fin. I love the board it is the first board I rode finless a timeless design that still surprises me everytime I ride it.
If you are begining just put the center fin in a moderate spped board that has huge pop learn to land wake to wake because the only draw back is it lands like a truck in the flats if you notice randell always tried to land on edge to save his knees.

Between those too, I would think the obvious choice should be the O’Brien. I personal have never ridden an HO, except for the totally, sick HO Joker kneeboards.
Do either have bindings? _________________ WARNING! NooB status means that anything I might say is absolute total crap. |

Diesel comes with Device bindings, the HO is a blank
I am looking for a board that I wont outgrow to fast. Something affordable but still a good board, something that you can throw some of the easier inverts anyway. |

I’d go with the O’Brien. You may want to upgrade the bindings later, but that board should be a great start. You will not find many HO fans around here. They make great kneeboards, but below average wakeboards IMO. _________________ WARNING! NooB status means that anything I might say is absolute total crap. |

The 141 rides smaller so I would go there I like smaller boards and thought I wouldn't like the harris but I loved it.
