Few thoughts -
The handle is high...... get is down around your waist.
The handle is out....... get it in tighter to your body.
Get more extension in your body....... your knees look a little bent like you've absorbed some of the impact of the wake (killing potential pop created by your progressive edge).
Can't really tell....... but kind of looks like you're looking down, not out at the flats where you should be going.
I'm sure others can provide more tips. |

a-ok had some good points. The only thing i have to comment on is that your legs don't have to be straight, as long as your legs are locked and don't absorb any of the impact at the wake. Besides that and handle position, the thing that helped me the most when i was learning to jump the wake is to not look at the other wake. look out way further, like to the shore line, and then look down just before you land. It should help you keep on balance easier. And always keep working on your progressive edge. Oh one last thought, a tower would help, but that's obviously not always an option. It doesn't look like you have one in that pic. _________________

| moomba010, I'm assuming you ride behind a Moomba. If you are, I've got an extended pylon you can buy if you are intereseted. |
