i would personly go with marcuskq that will build the basics of what you need to know , if ytou are starting trying to jump go with the heelside wake first then toeside.

marcuskg and cheesewizz have a good point those are things you'll need to know, but who says you can't also learn heelside 1 wake jumps? _________________

do some basic jumps from the heelside ( possibly toeside ) and then try riding switch( it helps a ton in the long run ). but i agree....try the surface tricks and bunny hops.

Practice your edges, then jump the wake heelside. If you want you could do surface tricks like butterslides, surface 180's, or practice riding switch.
