Hey, i have a Old tri-hull and i want to get higher off the wake and i dont have alot of cash....so i was thinking to get a pylon but the boat doesnt have a hole that you mount it in....is there any way of putting on there?...do i have to drill a hole or something or can i buy something to make it work?

I would look at getting some raw material. I dunno what kinda skills you have but all you really need is a base, some round stock for the pylon, a couple smaller pieces of round tube to add support to the rear, some metal to plug the top of the pylon, nuts and bolts and a tow point. Technically you could do it without any welding although it'd be more solid and look cleaner if it was welded. I briefly thought about doing this myself - putting the pylon close to the engine and having it come up through the engine compartment. That way I could put 2 support poles angled out to the rear on either side of the engine and have it all hidden from view. Depending on how high you wanted it you might not even need cables. You could probably get it all together (with cables) and still stay under $100. _________________ A good friend will bail you out of jail.
