I have a Motive 134 w/spin bindings. I have my bindings set on the second furthest outside screw sets. It feels uncomfortable like my legs are spread out too far.

I'm 5' 11" about 175lbs. How narrow can I place the bindings? What are the advantages/disadvantages of a narrower stance?

Thanks

Dizzy, there is no "right" way to have your bindings. The only advantage i can see to having a wide stance is the grabs are a slightly bit easier for me to get.. but it's barely a difference. Try riding a bit more narrow next time out.. play around with the stance untill it feels comfortable.

Ride whatever feels comfortable to you, but a wider stance generally keeps you lower and more stable on your board with your hips in a better position. I'm about the same size as you and ride a 138 and 140 all the way out... so a 134 with the bindings 2 slots from all the way out shouldn't be a stretch at all - it may just take some getting used to. But again, ride whatever is comfortable and experiment to see what you like the best and what works the best for you.
