I only ever wakeboard on the sea in a bay when it is fairly flat but does it make a big difference to your wakeboarding? Should I look for anything specific in a wakeboard if I am using it on the sea? Do you wakeboard on the sea or on a lake? Thanks

hey man, im riding in abersoch aswell. you need to get up and get launched a.s.a.p to get the morning glass. there is no lakes nearby for me so i have to get my rents to drive to the soch. theres nothing different for a wakeboard wether your riding in sea or lake. deeper fins will help you with tracking when ther is chop but other than that theres nothing + if you practice in the chop you riding in flat water will improve.

The sea is very different I feel like i slide around a lot in salt water but i can cut harder. I also feel like it is easier to jump in the sea.

TomOgorman, yeh i ride behind a seadoo gtx bombadier, i hav 3 people on it so it acts kinda like a ballast for me. im not goin down till Wakestock Very Happy but going ther for 2weeks, beginning & end of august. yeh im up everytime unless a wave comes at me lol. iv jus got some surface tricks in the bag + riding switch.

Notorious, it helps when the water is a bit choppy because it provides you with that little bit extra stability when carving and edging.

jus try to find water wher there is no boats around because they create most of the chop. where do you normally ride?. try Hells Mouth, ive ridden round there when there was no swells=no waves...perfect. how long are you staying for wakestock?
