Is anyone here doing raleys without a tower or pole? I've got an old I/O with the rope tied right down low on the back and a smaller wake, so I'm wondering if I should try this or if anyone has any tips before I go out and just give myself a beating.

I think it might actually be easier cuz with the rope lower it would be pulling you back down...probably not though

Nah, I think having the rope not pull me down right after takeoff would be a benefit.

ok, im sure if you have the balls to try it a few times you'll eventually get it but a tower will make the trick easier. I raley is i guess a "superman" trick. Youll wanna cut in on a very progressive eadge and when you hit the wake you still wanna be cutting in with even weight on both feet. It should kick your feet back, then you pull the rope to your knees and try and hopefully get your board back under you. itll be hard with a small wake and no tower but im sure ya can do it. Just go for it, good luck

Thanks RUFIO after google'ing superman trick I found some decent info on the trick.

this is the trick I have been looking for, now that I have some info I guess I'll have to try it next trip to the lake. Tho, I dont understand the board auto kicking back if you are in an aggressive edge. I have never felt it want to kick back. Wish me luck
