Ive just started and once i can start jumping the wake what tricks do i start first? Any other tricks to do without the use of a wake that are fairly easy

You could try to do some surface 180s once you can do them it should be pretty easy to do them while jumping, also try grabs and ollies

Before you start doing tricks, focus on riding switchm ollies, crossing the wake at high speeds, and mix in some butter slides as well. You really need to get your edging down before you start popping the wake.

you do a surface 180 to ride switch or spin back from it

Surface 180 you will finish riding switch, switch 180 you will finish riding regular.

Switch is the opposite to your normal stance, left foot or right foot forward.

Learn to ride switch now while things are fairly comfortable either way and it will make a big difference in your abilities later on down the road. Spend some time on it everytime you go out!
