I bought a board and after three afternoons of faceplanting i got up and can ride fairly comfortably now. But i dont know what direction to go in now, jumping, surface tricks, riding switch? which way do i go?

what i did was to just learn to ride for ages and keep your balance. when i first started riding i was so keen to croos the wake and pull of tricvks that would impress my friends but then i though i shoudl jus stay up and keep balance and now im crossing the wake and this weekend wit the helps from the guys on this forum im gunna start tryin 2 to jump the wake.

my advice is keep it simple and try to progress at your own rate
