I can time hitting the double up but how do you keep yourself from getting launched into the air off-axis. When I time the double up perfect I feel like i'm getting shot out of a cannon and i end up losing the handle and landing on my side or stomach. how do you prevent going off-axis?

Have something on your mind that your gunna do when edging in for the roller... if you just edge into it not planning on doing anything you will most likely get thrown off like that. or if thats not the case you could try just doing a huge grab or something. another note if your getting launched bigger than you like you can aim for a differnt roller, i think the first roller is usually the smallest hope this helps later

My bro messed up driving most of the doubleups today, he hit most of them at like a 130 degree angle so i was riding DIRECTLY over the rollers Rolling Eyes but when he hit one at 90 degrees once I hit it perfect and landed in control on the other side of the wake. It was fun watching everyone's faces when I landed

Doubleups are one of the coolest feeling things... ever... Now I just need to land a Dup 360... Very Happy
Anyways if you've ridden enough to be able to handle a double up, riding over the rollers are not what you are concerned about. They are not a problem, the concern is timing the doubleup so you dont ride through the pockets between the doubleups (there are pyramids where each roller hits the wake, and holes in between each roller where there is pretty much no wake).

If find that the hardest part is keeping a good edge going over the rollers. One of the reasons for that is because the boat is also going of the rollers and the tip of my pylon is swaying back and forth. When it sways, the rope tension changes from high to low and it's really hard to keep my speed. Any thoughts?

You don't need a ton of speed on a double up. Take a short progressive approach like the distance you would on a backroll and if you do it properly you'll get launched.
