Hey, i haven't been out riding yet, but i'm gonna seriously get into it this weekend, i'm buying a lighting bolt board later today. I'm an alright learner and i'm just wondering when i should maybe expect to get some good air. I know everybody's different, but i've been looking at these photos on here and they look pretty sick, that's what i want to be doing. Am i looking at at least a year of going out every weekend, or a couple months, or what.

I know alot of different things are gonna go into this, but i'm just wondering what kind of level i should be at in a month, 2 months, and so forth.

depends on who you ride with, how fast you learn, whether you've had any influence with snowboarding or skateboarding, and how gutsy you are..

if you progress and first thing to do is learn to carve well, then start carving into the wakes harder and harder every time and eventually you should be able to get w2w within a few weeks

It is gonna take awhile for you to be doing stuff that people on this board do if you haven't even gotten up yet. Getting up is half the battle.

Yea go with getting up first, then it will help a lot if you have someone in the boat thats good at wakeboarding, because i didnt have anyone and i had to learn by myself, its really hard too, this site helps a lot though, then start doing surf carves, and progressing harder into the wake each time, then remember to stand tall at the wake, and who konws how long it will take you before u can jump the wake, it depends on a lot of different things.
