I learned to ride on this thing in 2000 -- I had an I/O at the time. A friend found it at a Garage sale and bought it for me for $5.
After my addiction has grown I have spent thousands on a new boat and equipment
Where will it stop?

It's funny looking back at old equipment -- I think this is going to make a nice bench somewhere...I assume no one rode switch on one of these? |

Don't make a bench!!!
that would be a waste of a good opportunity to change it into a wakesurf borad.
It is the perfect shape; just take the bindings off and add grip tape. _________________ Peter Griffin:

the first time I saw one was in 93'.
I tried to use an old directional to wakesurf and it didn't work
*EDIT* after second thought, it may be closer to what swass said _________________ http://www.integrity-wake.com

The worst part about it is I just strolled into a little hick boat shop in the middle of nowhere last week and they had one for sale for like 2 or 3 hundred... I learned on a CWB slayer like 6 years ago! _________________

| it is either a 1995 like swass said or a 1994. I think swass is right though, because I think it came out a year after the Blade Runner and I think the blade runner came out in 1994. |

I learned on a board like that except it was made by hyperlite. It has a graphic on it that says "the soul of wakeboarding". I tried throwing some wax on it and wake surfing with it 4 days ago and it rode great, except its to narrow and doesnt have enough flotation to let go so u have to hold on with it _________________ "My wife waxed my back once....

yeah, swass is right. It is one of connelly's models from 1995. And that's really cool that they found it for 5.00. _________________ J.L.A. Is Snowboarding

WILD!!! I learned on a Blade.... I haven't seen one of those in years; I would have paid $5 just to hang it up on my wall.
That "Twin Towers" Hyperlite is probably from '96-'97 or thereabouts -- I know it was when they were still referred to as "twin tips"
My first is an old Hyperlite surf style with an airplane on it, I believe; I still store it at my parent's house and haven't seen it in a few years.... |
