Okay so I have been out about 3 times total and can get up, carve, and jump one wake successfully. But, I want to learn how to ride switch. I have tried an ollie twice with very...... very bad results (reaching for advil just thinking about it). What is the proper way to just do an ollie? How about a 180 in the flats? Thanks in advance for the help.

Cut out hard with your heelside edge.
Flatten out
Press down with front foot
Let up on fron foot while pressing down on back foot
when you pop, bring your knees up to your chest

to ollie 180 in flats:
do all of the above, then let go with your front hand on the handle
this will automatically rotate your body to swich

Go get the waketrix dvd or higher education. I found alot of it to be good info. Also if you want to learn to ride switch, learn to get up switch, it will be the easiest and least painful way. Before I could do ollie 180's I was in the same boat as you with the advil. Good luck!
