how ever you feel comfortable, i prefer shoes, a little shorter rope, and a little slower speed. but there is only one way to find out, try it. _________________ "There Are Things Known And There Are Things Unknown And In Between Are The Doors." -Jim Morrison |

With my foam top I don't wear shoes because I'm not serious with it. I go the same speed I do on a wakeboard (21 mph) and use the same length rope. But then again I'm not trying to become the best wakeskater, I just use it for fun. _________________ www.Tigeowners.com

I ride anywhere from 60-65 feet on mine. I go a little slower than my normal boarding at 21-22. But I think tonight Im gonna try 60 feet and down to like 17-18ish. Not sure wanna start bustin on it and try to go somewhere with it, so I better start now. _________________

Well Im not expecting to be super pro... I just want to be able to ride hella good. I dont care about the comps and stuff, I just wanna be able to build an awesome 25' flat 1 pipe slider and throw backside lip like Aaron Reed. That was bad, but a shuvit off would be nice. _________________

Janky, why did you make a new account just to post that?
Anyways, to answer your question: wear shoes, ride at 60' and 18 mph. But mostly have a good ass time _________________ ...island style... |
