Hey all,

Did a quick search on the this forum and the wakeskating.com forums, but I couldn't find an answer to my question which is this. In order to tow a skate is necessary to have one of those tow poles installed on the back of the pwc. My friend recently picked up two Seadoo RXPs and I'm dying to skate behind them rather than suck up boat gas skating around. The back of the RXP has a hook for towing but thats it. I'm trying to get my buddy into skating and doing permanent damage to his brand new pwc might turn him off a bit. Anyways for those of you with pwc or who have ridden behind them, lemme know. Thanks

That tow hook on the back will work fine. PWC tow poles like the ones on some of the newer seadoos are only about a foot or two higher anyway.

I feel no difference in the two and it's not necessary to have a pole.

PWC's do not have a prop. And you should be aware of the rope no matter what if you are driving.
