It's not really an ollie like you would for a wake jump, but you still have to jump.
When you come off the wake you need to straighten your legs like a spring to launch you. Just make sure the pressure is off your toes.
By the way, I’m changing my user name.
I seen that there is another scuba steve on this board, so I’ll just change it to scuba so there is no confusion. |

when i tried one today, one of my friends in the boat said i was doin them too late and i just ended up doin a crappy one and catching my ts edge, how do i edge all the way through the wake and still let my hips drift away at the top, and still have time to get the board under me? _________________ Yabba Dabba Dizzle |

Jump off your toes? what? Don't jump at all. Hold your progressive edge all the way through the top of the wake. Don't Jump. Pop is not generated from jumping, it is generated from edging. Speed=Distance Edge=Height (more or less).

| I don't mean to be offensive here, but please disregard Scuba Steve's advice. You need to hold your edge through the wake, and if you're "jumping off your toes" that would probably mean that you backed off--not a good idea. Also, if you do them correctly, you don't have to pull on the rope very hard at all. With perfect form, it's like the board snaps back down automatically. So if you have to pull really really hard to get the board back underneath, it means that you aren't using the proper edge. Don't flatten off and throw the board behind you. |

I landed my first try, honest. My second try I accidentally went to krypt but still landed it and from that point on I always did a krypt. I ate $h!t on my 5th or 6th one though and never did them again. _________________ Does this rag smell like chloroform?
