when you where a drysuit do you where a vest with it? I got an oneill boost the one that is really loose and baggy. thanks

I do, don't listen to wells . Look at it this way, if you break a seal and the suit starts taking on water then wouldn't you want something to help float you till the boat gets there. Safety first

I used to not wear a vest when using a drysuit. that all changed when the neck seal ripped in the back and it started filling up. I didn't know that it was filling until i was riding around and noitced that it was really hard to move around. the suit ended up filling to the waist. BE SAFE AND WEAR THE VEST.

| its HIGHLY recomended, i live in florida, so i dont need one of those, but i would if did, like in the winter i wore my vest over a wetsuit top

you should wear your vest under your drysuit. but even if you didn't and your drysuit tore open or blew a seal, you are not gonna sink! the water in the suit is equal in weight to the water around the suit. this is why fat sacs are better for weight than say sand or lead. once in the water the sacs equal out with the surrounding water. i have heard that if you leave too much air in the suit and go head first in the water, and come out of your bindings, you can get stuck upside down. not sure if it's true or not. i don't leave that much air in mine anyway. but yeah, wear a vest ALWAYS!
