anyone here a boat dealer? i need some help because i need to convince my dad into letting me put some weight in the boat but the only way i can do that is by getting a boat dealer or someone like that to tell him that it is still safe. so any please help me out. i need weight. i have a 20 foot maxim with a 350 in it.

i am thinking like 300 in front and a couple of 100's in the back on the sides

Sounds good. Even if you put the 300 in front and a couple 100's in the back that is only 500. For a 20ft. boat 500 total shouldn't affect it at all. What is the weight limit for your boat? Just tell your dad that you can put in as much weight as the max capacity is.

the max is like 1050 which i think it can handle a lot more because we have had 8 people all weighing over 160 and a full tank of gas, food and drinks too.

Just watch ou. where I live if the water patrol see fat sacs they take that weight off of your capacity so if your capacity is 1050 and you put the 500 punds of sacs you will only be able to carry 550 worth of people. If the saces are not visible they dont' look where I am though so then you can get away with it
