Well my family fiinnnaalllyy got a boat, and my Dad and i took it out yesturday. It was my first time wakeboardin ever, even though i've been lookin into startin for quite some time now. On the 7th try i got up for a few seconds (that didn't last long). When we had to pack up and head back to the ramps, I swear i could hardly get in the boat i was so tired, and im reeeaallll athletic too.
This mornin i woke up and could hardly move i was so sore. (getting to the point), Is it a good idea to stretch out a bit before and/or after a day of boarding? Or at least have any of yall had any trouble wit bein sore an stuff?
I got muscles hurtin that i didn't even know i had!
thanks guys,
~Meg |

Ohhh, yeah. Definitely stretch. After the first few times out, your muscles will get used to it, and you'll be okay. It's no different than any other physical activity, sport, etc. _________________ PS- this is what part of the alphabet would look like if Q and R were eliminated.

| The best thing for your muscles when you're that sore is to hit the lake again and do some more boardin... The more you do it, the more you get use to it. |

Sounds like you might be trying to muscle it too much...The first day I went out I was the exact same. sore as hell. Since then I have stopped fighting the boat so much and the only thing that has been sore is my fore arms from holding on to the rope. Try easing up out of the water like you are just getting helped up by a friend from a seated position. Keep with it. _________________ Courage is not the lack of fear, but having fear and going in anyways- |

It doesn't matter what you do, the first ride is going to kick your ass. _________________ PS- this is what part of the alphabet would look like if Q and R were eliminated.

| as re re said, you gota stretch. do a quick warm up to get your muscles ready, go riding all day long but dont forget to do a cool down. stetch your muscles a little not as much in the warm up as this prevents lactic acid build up and causes the aching feeling. |

| With almost any sport, the first time makes you sore. But if you push yourself into boarding the next day, when you are sore, that will help stretch out those muscles that you use when boarding. It may hurt, but once you work those muscles, it'll be easier. |
