Today I wwent out for the first time. I treid every way possible to get up and couldn't get it. the board kept wanting to go under the water so someone please help me

underwater is fine, as long as your toes are higher than your heels. Don't fight it. The boat will pull you up. Other than that, search, because there is TONS of information on here about getting up.

Look down a couple to Just plowing water. I had some good suggestions from people there. Things that helped me:

1. Start boat slow and gradally increase speed slowly rather than jamming on throttle
2. wrap arms around your knees rather than putting them between your knees.
3. keep your shoulders back like you are trying to poke your chest out
4. let the board start to sink and just stay crouched and try to angle the board slightly up in the front...it WILL start to come out of the water.
5. Once the board starts to come out of the water, start swinging it around in line with the boat. Let it get some speed and just stand up.

Hope that helps. There are several more tips in the other thread, but those above seemed to help me the most.

The best thing I can tell you is the less you try, the easier it is to get up. Don't lean forward, don't lean back. Just sit there and let the boat pull you up.
