When you do the handle pass make it closer to your body, and reach for the other hand, not the handle.

yeah...you didn't "pass" the handle to the other hand...you just let it hang there and you were looking around for it. nice attempt though...you are very close.

Start the rotation with both hands on the handle, the pull on the handle to create less line tension which makes the handle pass a ton easeier.

You had the height, the rotation just missing the pass. Practice passing the handle from one hand into the other so that you become comfterable with the motion. If you have access to a tramp try jumping and passing on there then take it to the water. Your so close just keep trying!

just a qik tip your handle pass is non existant. practice on land over and over. turning the handle down then into the small of your back. it was brief but looks like you come in quite fast. try a tall poppy jump. its a 180 with a 180 thats all. if you are still having trouble you can try passing the handle under your ass. a good third tip if you are still going out of the front get the bvoat driver to curve to pick the wake up to give a peakier more poppy wake also the line and handle will be easier to reach with the tension being reduced. good luck and nice clip

looked like you were going for a 5, the way you spun off the wake instead of waiting, and letting go of the handle too early. if you wait till the top of your height to start your spin, and relaly suck up your front knee, and just pull the handle like non other, it should come easy

gdillyfunk69like previously mentioned, you've got pretty good pop and rotation. However the handle pass is off(stating the obvious). Here is why that is, 1) your not pulling the handle in as you come off the top fo the wake thus the h-pass is occuring several inches off of your back vs. right up against your back and 2)if you pause the video as your looking to make the handle pass, the handle is straight up and down, thus giving you approx. 10in or more reaching distance to make the h-pass. Try to pull the rope in as u'r hitting the wake and then twist/roll your hand in a downward motion so the handle when behind your back is parellel to the board not perpendicular like when you pause the video. This will give your hand thats trying to grap the h-pass a better opportunity to make the h-pass.
GOOD LUCK BRO!!!! |

Great crash, I could watch it over and over....good stuff.
You have absolutely no pull on the handle when you leave the wake. You are just tryn to spin your body around to get the handle and unless you time it 100% you have no chance. Like the clip shows, did I say nice crash??LOL...
POP, PULL then PASS
Don't let go of the handle till you feel it in the other hand!!! the best advice I ever got... _________________ PEACE

im having the same problem as qdillyfunk... i did that exact fall on my first two attempts.. but my next 4 attempts i was so concentrated on getting the handle around that i wouldnt let go with my right hand so i got about a 270 done facing away from the boat and my right arm straight behind me so it pulled me and laid me out backwards... can anyone say... ouch?.... on my last attempt i did the same thing but my left foot came out of my binding and the corner of the board smacked me in my left eye... really ouch!... now my eye is so swollen i cant see out of it... damn 360's.....

Some might say that learning a 3 is alot harder than landing an invert like a b-roll or a tanny. Unfortunately in the world of wakeboarding, learning new tricks come at a price that is quite painful at times. But the thrill of landing a new trick makes it all worth it.

pull the rope, keep handle parrallel to the water, let go only after handle is in the other hand, rotate last 50% of the trick.

gdillyfunk69, SWEET CRASH! u looked like a rag doll right when you hit the water, . anyway, you've got a sweet attempt and just practice handle passing and you'll nail it, and maybe even a 5 cuz you were close to that too .
Or you can just go straight to the pros and land osmosis 360s |

just start the pass with 2 hands. bring the handle with both hands to the side your passing it to, then reach around with the other hand and grab it. and that will finsih your rotation. SIck crash..

i tried this this weekend and i couldnt land it but i think its because we didnt use the tower this weekend so i wasnt getting high enough to finish the rotation, but this friday we are going again and im getting the tower up and will try it again. but this weekend i would get about half way around then hit the water with my back to the boat so im landing to fast.
