I'm plannin on getting a cheap 80's boat and puttin some money into it. I would like to put a tower on it. Now for my question. How good are the cheap ones on ebay? The "roll cage" tower...? Its only 650 buy it now 725 w/ shipping. Thats good priced. Just wandering if anyone has experience. Thanks.

i just purchased a joystick off ebay with no reserve. these are brand new towers powder coated any color u want. installation was relatively easy(but time consuming. measure 3 times drill once) i got mine for 735 plus shipping but i have seen them go as low as 699. u can cheack them out at www.joystickpylons.com i am going to do a post in the next couple of days with my tower and homemade speaker enclosures with pics.

bighitbiker3 is right they will work.
I was considering what you are a few months ago. I threw in a cople hundred more and go a Big Air H2O. I'm actually very happy with it. Its very solid and basicly put it on myself, My wife assisted in a few instances. But it came out very good. Don't rule them out, I think you would be happier.

Long story short...My dad has a 87 29' Regal and I have a 99 Polaris SLT780 in lake erie...Well i only go up every other weekend w/ him...I want a boat for here for when im not up there with him...Iam 18, certified license, etc. Just a poor as stuff  ...I will pry end up gettin the one that comes with the free board racks...i like free stuff. But this wont be till i get the boat obv. Thanks guys.
