i ride at 19 now....i know its slow but its nice. i can jump the wake perfectly, and the wake is bigger than at 22 or 23. and the falls hurt less...not that wakeskateing falls hurt its just nicer on the body.

I'm at 17 mph and like it. My son (9) likes 15.5 (yep we have perfectpass)

perfectpass keeps the boat going the same speed all of the time so you dont have to ajust it all of the time.

Normally I ride 23-25 on my boat, the wake is so wide and the wake is better around those speeds. But on other peoples boats i normally go around 20-22.

can you buy a perfect pass system, or does
it come as an option when you buy your boat?

Kampus-slide, some people prefer it...others dont. all preferences aside, i really think there is something to be said about someone who knows how to hold a constant speed w/o it.

lately ive been skating at 23mph behind an 03 vlx w/ internal ballast, 3-5 people and the wedge up. such a sweet wake.

smokedog2, I sink at anything below 20! How do you go 15.5 or even 17? Whenever you cut out your toes go under. (My experiences)

I ride 20.5 when doing non w2w tricks...22.5 when trying w2w stuff.
