04 to 05 subjekt

is there any differences between last years and this years that i would be missing out on if i bought the 04? ive narrowed it down to the subjekt and im just wondering if there was some breakthrew that i would be missing. The price difference is what im thinking about..difference of about 200 bucks that i dont have.

so how about bindings...im contemplating between lf transits, nice prs1's, nice rg1,s or collective development. transits are pretty light prs1's look a lot like the sphynx and the rg1's are just pimp looking, and CD's look effing comfortable and i was informed that they are not heavy so i took them into serious thought!

I just picked up the transits, coming off some of the Nice Prs1's and have tried on CD's.

A: The Cd's are sick, but IMO they take a bit long to lace up, which is why I didnt get them.

2. The PSR1's were pretty sick. I liked how they make it feel like a snowboard binding with the rachet and the fiberglass "high back" inserts on the back. However, the footbeds did hurt my feet after a while, and it took a lot of customizing on my part to get them to work for me.

3. I got a killer deal on some Transists, which is why I picked some up, and I must say they are the best out of you options by far. They are more comfortable then the NICE's or the CD's by far. IMO, they feel exactly like a snowboard boot. However, they didn't have as much of a locked in feeling as the others you were considering. In fact, I have already customized them by adding on a heel rachet. Very easy to do, I did it for 20 bucks.....and now I feel like I have the best bindings ever. (combined the features of the PSR1's with the comfy ness of the transists). IMO go with the transists, but its all preference, but make sure you at least try on the boots before you make a decision.

I also ride a subjekt, so these boot opionons are coming from on top of the subjekt too. Awesome board.

In short, go with the transits.

I ride NICE bindings (04 Scarecrows) and they are VERY comfortible, and the thing I love about them is when you fall and the board happens to come off the bindings never hurt my feet in coming out. I know the PRS1's probably have a different feel to them but if they are at least up to the quality of my scarecrows then I would definately go with them.

i think they re-shaped the tail/nose on it for 04 if im not mistaken. but yeah the transits look pretty sick and reeeallly comfortable, they were my first choice but i was just looking at my my options thanks that really helped me out.
