Hey guys I have a quick question to ask you all and I would like your opinion on it whoever has any. I have been riding a Liquid Force Trip board (138) and I just bought a 2005 Hyperlite Parks (136). Will I notice a difference in how high I can jump and stuff like that? Is this a good quality board from anyone who rides it? It seemed like a very high end board to me.

Ju, Honestly? You're in WAY over your head. The Trip and the Parks are probably the two most different boards on the market. I'm sure you don't want to hear this, but I'd sell the Parks. What kind of stuff can you do behind the boat?
I'd recommend, if you want to go a more advanced board, Get the LF Balance. It is similar to the trip. The shape is similar, it rides a little slower, but its still a fast board, and you will get better pop than the Trip.
The Parks is Absolutely the last board I would reccomend to anyone coming off of a trip...well, actually the last board I would recommend to anyone. |

yes you will notice a difference in how high you jump, if you have your technique down that is.
the board is built pretty well, and hyperlite is usually pretty good about warrantying their boards if they break. _________________ www.TheLiquidPlayground.com

So the board is still a good board and will be much different from the trip? Honestly I feel I cant pop as much as I want on the trip. I'm looking for an extremely high pop and yes I do have my jumping down really good now.

Maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the Parks is going to add miraculous height to your pop. Look at how much air Murray and others on continuous boards can get. I love riding the 03-04 Parks but personally hate the 05, I found it easier to get bigger air but I wasn't going places I'd never gone before on an old Belmont. I don't think you're suddenly going to start getting nose bleeds, but let us know.

Bowen is full of crap. I have the O5 Parks DNA and its awesome. you'll definatly notice a huge increase in your pop, and edge. Its definately one of the best boards out there. Have fun with it!

how is bowen full of crap? i would actually agree with him more than i would agree with you. there is no real "best board" out there, and coming off a trip it might take him some time to become acclimated to the change in rockerline. if i were to sell him a board it might be a team or balance or premier or something along those lines.
then again its his choice and he's allowed to buy whatever it is that he wants. even an O5 parks, but only if you put a capital "o" in place of the zero when you denote the year. _________________ www.TheLiquidPlayground.com
