Which ballast pump should I get?

I have pretty much decided to buy the Straight Line Launch Pad Locker/Bow Pad and the Skylon Fat Buddies - With Covers.

Unfortunately, these two products are made by different manufacturers. But, the sales guy said that I could use either the Skylon Fat Pump 1100GPH or the Straight Line Fill Kit (1,000 GPH) with both of these products.

First, is this true? Can I use either pump with both ballast products?

And if so, does anyone suggest one pump over the other?

I am inclined to go with the Skylon since it is slightly faster but not if the Straight Line is a better made product or more universal.

i would recomend the straight line one it has a 12' clear tube and works great
