steve-o, man I need to put this in my signature....jk. I love the balance, I have the 2004, so I don't know if it has changed at all for 2005. But the board has good pop, soft landings, and it's loose while just riding, but it really locks in when you edge. Hope this helps. BTW, it is my favorite board I've ever ridden, over the LF substance (almost a tie), Obrien vixen, O'brien demented, O'brien Player, and the HL essence. |

thanks guys, i'm sure its a good board. its funny though cause the board shops the carry lf dont have the balance and doesn't seem to be that popular. i also don't see any pro tour riders using it. I've read the details on the board and i think it will be right up my ally.
oh yeah does it have a PBT top and bottom. cause i broke my helix with no pbt botom and i can see that being a problem |

I'll double the hard landings. If you run out into the flats at all it's a tad hard on the knees. Fast stick, for sure.
One other thing to note. I have an 04 Balance 139 and LF beefed it up in the center to the point where it's tough to get in some racks. Mine looks like I regularly ride sliders it's got so many black marks on the bottom. Not sure the shorter one is quite as thick, though. |

| jumalian, SuprAir, hmmm...I think it has pretty soft landings, even out in the flats. |

| I tried that board at the LF Trip Across America. I loved it. It reminded me of the Trip a little bit, although a lot of the LF boards have a little bit of Trip in them. Anyway, the board is fast, has nice pop, and holds well. I think it will be my next board. |
