I just got my board not too long ago. I never had any problems getting up, and I can keep my balance and ride behind the boat, but I have no idea where to even start so I can actually WAKEBOARD. My family and friends all know quite a bit about water skiing, but wakeboarding is new territory for us, so I was wondering if anyone could offer some advice. Thanks so much!

Just ride around, experiment. Read through the trick tips on the homepage here to get you started. You could also go to some local events in your area and try and find some people to ride with who could teach you.

Just practive carving around, keeping an edge all the time. work on accelerating on edge (progressive edge), surfing up the wakes between the wakes behind the boat.
The most important thing I learned at this stage was getting proper body stance, and keeping an edge.
Never lean forward, that is a sure fire way to face plant. Always keep line tension, relax, kness bent to cushion chop, try to keep handle at your hips, not way out in front of you at shoulder level like I was doing.
Also, if you keep an edge, you should be able to maintain good speed and direction control.
hope this helps! Very Happy
