shoes on foam top

I recently got a new wakeskate with a foam top and was wondering if i should wear shoes

i have a foam top and wear shoes, i have been skating on it a lot and its jsut finally starting to slightly show wear, i think i am going to get it re foamed next year...it depends on whether you feel comfortable with or without them. i can't go with out them b/c i am afriad i will kick the board with my feet when i fall and thats my worst fear.

man but grip tape gives some nasty burns and those blow harsh. the foam doesn't and its jsut nice to ride b/c i am not afraid of getting those nasty burns. but i will probably get it taped...its probably nicer than on the foam. when riding do you fgeel more atached to the board?

i dont feel more attached to the board but i feel i have more control because i can move my feet with ease to set up or land a trick. the feel of grip tape is also much better. foam is too soft

ya i wear shoes on the foam top...
they stick really good
