Okay, I started wakeboarding about 3 or 4 years ago, but unfortunately don't manage to get out very often. My brother and I bought a Fletcher arrowflyte a couple of years back and a starter board (some Jobe thing... not bad.. but not good!).
We've just bought a 2004 LF Team 139, which came with 03 Ultra Suction bindings (Large), but I don't like the bindings... so...
1) My brother can get into the Ultras (with the help of some trusty shaving foam!), but he could harldy get out of them after a quick session. I can harldy get into them at all, and I didn't go out on the water with them, as they were just too tight. My feet are size 11 (UK) and my brothers are size 9 (UK), meaning that I'm at the top of the scale for large and by brother is at the bottom. Would this mean that lace ups would be more suitable for us? Maybe a size XL also? If so, what bindings would anyone recommend?
2) Should you be able to come out of the binding? We always ride on coastal waters, so it's always a bit rough, meaning that we're certain to have at least 1 face plant ! I've never come out of a binding unless I've stacked it, but I'm now wondering how tight should bindings be? Am I increasing the risk of injury if bindings are harder to get out of?
Hmm... lots of questions there.. sorry _________________ Hard work pays off after time, but lazyness always pays off now. |

| mitchet, take a look at either the LF elements or LF Alphas. Get the large size. Both bindings are very comfortable and adjustable. |

Also take a look at the transits. I heart my transits. I think a large would be OK since they're lace ups.

The alphas are really comfortable but are not adjustable _________________ Cybernetic Ghost-I am the ghost of Christmas Past and I will tell you what Christmas was like

Okay, thanks for this... what about bindings other than LF's, not that I have anything against them, but are Parks, O'Briens and so on any good? _________________ Hard work pays off after time, but lazyness always pays off now. |

All of the Hyperlite line is good. I have eras and really like them. Form Cwb I like the boss and zeus and the Torqs are good esp. for adjustables. As for Obriens i dont know _________________ Cybernetic Ghost-I am the ghost of Christmas Past and I will tell you what Christmas was like
