|
|
| I was browsing obrien's site looking at the valhalla and it lists the rocker type as progressive. I've never heard that term before for a rocker. What does that mean? I'm assuming it's like a parabola shape but I'm just guessing. |

It means the rocker doesnt get steeper at a constant rate. The rate of curve increases as it reaches the tips. Basically a 3 stage without a flat spot, or a continous with more aggresively curved tips. _________________ TONA

jason_ssr, makes sense. That would make the landings softer but the board not quite as abrupt and a little slower. That's basically what I meant by parabola but I was just looking for confirmation. I'm going to have to checkout that board. That's exactly what I'm looking for. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

Good Lord Brad, you change boards like you change underwear....every other month! You're as bad as I was last year.
On a side note....let me demo that Valhalla when you get it _________________ "I'm not a professional wakeboarder, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn last night". |

Nauty, I haven't changed boards yet. There's nothing wrong with looking
For the record I haven't bought a wakeboard in intervals of less than 2 years. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

The Valhalla is a sick board!! The progessive rocker really helps the board have great pop but it also allows the board to be faster then a 3 stage board. It also has a large v under your feet out to the tips that makes the landings really soft.
Check it out if you get the chance,
