Mobe789, I have the balance, and I am pretty consistent off the wake. I love the balance. I have the '04, I don't know if the '05 is different. The balance is fast, has good pop, and is loose while just "riding" but really locks in when you edge in. I strongly recommend it. Then again, I have never ridden the team so I can't compare the 2.

wakechick - Are you riding your Balance with the center fin removed? With all center fins in, I thought the board felt pretty locked down at all times. With the centers out, board felt very loose to me. Definitely looser than my premier that I ride without center fins.

Also, the balance feels like a faster board to me (again compared with the premier).
