Thought I'd post a couple of pics of another perfect weekend from Dale Hollow since I know there are a few of you that are heading that way in the near future. The lake is just beautiful, thats all I really have to say about it. I can't wait to go back.

...a few more.... wish I had more riding pics, but we seemed to always end up getting a little too tipsy to ride.

| Nice pictures, I just found this site.. I live about 8 miles from Dale Hollow. Pretty cool to see some pictures online from the lake. Did you go over in the Livingston Boat Dock or Horse Creek Marina area?

ridinintn, Yeah, we cruised all over the lake on Thursday. We actually come down a couple of times a year, but this was the first time we ever rented a houseboat. Wasn't too impressed with Holly Creek. 4 days was $2600. 4 days is pretty much a tease. Any advice for chalets, cabins, or any houseboat rentals later in the summer would be appreciated. And welcome to WB.com.

Sunset Marina In Byrdstown may be alittle cheap
http://www.sunsetmarina.com/
this time of year it is hard to find a real good deal though, best time is after labor day when the weather is still decent and the water is still warm. I have never really looked into much cabin or houseboat stuff because I live so close to the water.
Yeah, it is a good sized lake. We put in at Livingston Boat Dock, it is free and it the closest to our house. Usually some nice glassy water in the coves around that area.

Great Pics!
Third pic down is a beautiful shot...I assume that's Willow grove boat dock on the left of that pic...looking toward the back of the hollow?
We're back there again next week, hope the weather stays nice!

| norris lake tennessee has beautiful houseboats...especially at seqouyah marina, springs dock, and shanghai. i THINK that you can get a houseboat for a week for $1800....but i forget it's been a while since i have checked. ask Shawn Madison about it because he lives in the town of Norris.

kmagnuss, Where is Dale Hollow Island? I see you are from Sarasota. Is DH in Florida? I'm in Tampa and I'm looking for good places to ride.

Dale Hollow is in Kentucky (I think, or else north TN). I ride in Sebring @ lake Jackson usually. It's about an hour or so south of Orlando.

Cool. Do you own your own boat? Ever need anyone to ride with? I met another dude on this site who I'm going to ride with tomorrow in Orlando, but always looking to meet more riders so I can ride all the time...til I get my boat, that is.

It's in a little bit of both.
We've got some great lakes in Tennessee, but yet I always end up in the crapy overcrowded Priest Lake......

NAW, We are looking at making another trip down later this summer. You should try to make it. I'll give you the details when it gets closer.
kdawg, The diving at Dale is SIIIIICK. The visability right now isn't as good as usual, but its still really clean and clear.
AirProfile, The houseboat was 2600 for 4 days. The mobius is getting ready to be for sale, so I'll have to withold that info. But it has had about $5000 in upgrades over the winter including dual battery's, perco switch, neons, tinted windows, huge stereo upgrade, and light bar.... just in case you were in the market.
ohio_wake_2008, Thanks for the info. Havnt been to Norris, but I'll check it out.

Concussedrider, Werd. I'll try to make it down later this summer. I'll be sure to look you up. I'll need the grand tour of Norris.
