I am able to save $2000 on a Signature Series verses the Team Edition Nautique. Everything is comporable, Ballast radio, amp sub, racks, PP, cover, ect. Only difference is analog guages, toggle switches, and key start. I like the color of the Signature over the Team as well. What do you guys think of Signature series?

David, I assume your adding all of the things you listed, because those are all options. I'm all for saving money, but compared to what extra things you get on the Team you aren't saving much. Those new gauges they have are prety sweet, if you haven't taken a good look at them I suggest you do. They do more than just tell you what the engine is doing at that time.

Instead of just the "Check Engine" light coming on they will tell you what has gone bad on the engine. Also the new gauges have the depth and water temp built in them.

There are other small things that are nice, but I don't have the time to type them right now. Either way your gonna have a nice boat, so do what you want...

BTW-- you can order the colors anyway you want on the Team, so as far as you not liking the colors, that can be changed.

So the only difference is the SMART POD? That don't sound like much to me, just the brains behind the whole operation....

I'd go with the one that looks the best. LOL......

No seriously, you are saving 2 grand for a reason, check out the better gauges they make them for a reason. In some cases it's what sets most boats apart.

PEACE

That is not the only difference. If you want the third stripe (the one where it says air 210, that is an upgraded cost. You also have to pay the upgrade cost to get the excalibur. My guess is that you want to take out of dealer stock to get the discount from CC right? There is more to it than just the guages. Also, the tower is put into a package price with the team so you save a little bit there. I think if you priced everything on the signature vs. what is on the exact same equipped team, you would see a closer price difference.

Both boats are in the showroom and I dont want to wait to order it. Same tower, racks, radio, amp, sub, ballast. Difference is smart pod and the third stripe.

I'd go Team unless you really like the other color

I understand you not wanting to wait but if i was spending that much on a boat i would get exactly what i wanted. so i would probably just order one. My dad does the same thing with trucks all the time. He figures out what he wants and goes to a dealer to order it and they talk him into buying one off the lot or dealer trading with someone else and for the rest of the year he wishes he had just ordered the truck he wanted. If you like the team edition better then buy it. I would be more likely to regret not buying an option then wishing I did buy it later on then buying an option I didnt use.

just out of ceriosity, what are the colors?

I totaly second what wes said, if your spending that much on a boat you might as well get exactly what you want.

I personaly would go for the team. In the long run it will probably be worth more resale.

There's more difference then just the Smart Pod...
The Team comes with the composite platform, dual battery boxes with cut-off switch, different steering wheel and throttle knob, air/water temp gauges, depth gauge, helm ballast control, jump seat, and pullout cleats midship.

That's all the standard features on a Team that you didn't mention the Signature had you were looking at. Some of those things don't seem like much, but sit down with your dealer and look at what all that would cost if you were to add it. I bet it would cost more than $2000.

Like Wes said, when spending that much money you might as well get exactly what you want and nothing you don't. That's what i did, maybe one of these days I'll receive it. Word of warning, you will be waiting at least 8 weeks for a custom order. This late in the season that may make you swing one way or the other.

When it's all said and done your spending the money, so get what you want. Were just here to add input.

I don't think people picked up on my sarcasm.

You guys know more about My boat than I do....I just put gas in it a drive...
