hey guys. i was driving the excursion today (to go jump my POS mercedes) and i misjudged the width of the truck and hit the driver side view mirror and the blinker light cover cracked and broke. after looking online the cheapest ones i could find were like $400! i was wondering if anyone knows where i could find a cheaper one. its gay cause (as far as i know) you cant replace just the light cover you have to replace the whole mirror. here are some pics of what it looks like...
the mirror side looks the same, and the back side is similar. as you can see i drew in the blinker. and along the red line there is a contour, on ours the back is flat (well its not like totally flat but there is no part raised more that the other) thanks for any help

| Try a local pick-and-pull. You could probably find one for super cheap.

well acctually i had to move a little closer to the middle of the street due to a parked car. there was still plenty of me and the oncoming car but i guess he got off the street (and in the grass) freeked and swerved and we kissed mirrors

Hey wakerider07,
I've got an '00, my replacement cost $100 BUT, I'd go to the salvage yard up the street and find one...
Alotta what you see cheap on the net are NOT heated, NOT electrically adjustable so be forwarned!

wesgardner,
Excellent advice. Many people don't realize all the stuff you can find at salvage yards. You could practically build a new car out of one of those places.

| Call a local body shop and ask for the # of the LKQ yard they use and contact name, This way you know your going to get a quality product. Body shops get the pick of the litter.
