| You have over 800 posts, and you are asking about edging?!?! It sounds to me like to don't have the expertise or knowledge to be qualified to have that many posts. Go practice some more, then come back and tell us about it. |

| Firefightersmurf, post count has nothing to do with how well you ride. |

| Obviously it has nothing to do with riding ability, but I’m just wonder Wakeboarddrumma joined the forum on 28 June 04, almost a full year ago, and he is just now asking how to edge? I started wakeboarding in February and I’m almost lending my HS backrolls, and hs wrapped 360’s. I can throw my half-cabs every time. I think if he has 800+ posts and can’t cut back across the water he needs to spend more time riding, and less time talking smack. BTW Wakeboarddrumma the most important thing to remember while cutting back and forth is to keep your boatside edge out of the water. (Boatside = HS or TS which ever is facing the boat) |

| Firefightersmurf, have you read all of Wakeboarddrumma's posts? Are you sure that he's talking a lot of smack? Perhaps he doesn't get as much time on the water as you and still loves the sport? Perhaps he's been injured? Think about other circumstances, not just the amount of time he's been here and the post count. |

I don't go to the water every weekend guys. I have only gone one time this year due to the lack of $ to get the boat running. I ride behind an outboard, therefore i don't hit a 2 foot wake 24/7. There is a little thing called knowledge too. It means you know about a sport. If you have read this forum daily for a year as i have, then you might know alot too. And post count? My god man, it a Bubb Rubbing count of how many times you post. Last year i finnially got a real board about the time i joined this forum. It was a CWB area 51, i had a plastic one before that. I rode about 2 times a month after that for about 2 and a half months. You need to get off your ass and do something with your Bubb Rubbing life. I do ALOT more than just wakeboard. It isn't something you can spend your whole week doing for most of us. I have alot of other things i like to do. Which include hanging out with friends. Something you probably don't do because you wouldn't have friends if you make fun of people online. I never say oh yea i landed all this today. I don't talk smack. I just voice my opinion or give a little help where i can. Looking at my profile, you will see i have 2.something posts per day. Think about it, thats not alot at all. Go suck a dick and quit makin fun of people online.
Prior, you are correct i don't get as much water time. |

Nice reply Wakeboarddrumma, and Prior. I was going to chime in and defend you, but I think you did the job yourself. There is nothign wrong with posting 800 times if you're inexperienced as a wakeboarder (as long as you're not advising on S-Bends haha). Good luck with your riding and your boat.
When switching from toeside to heelside, be sure to really lean away from the boat (boatside edge out of water as earlier post said) and turn the board with your hips, using the power you generate leaning away from the boat on the rope. Its a leveraged turn, be sure to leverage the rope. _________________ Don't listen to advice from people who can't land that trick. My list:
HS+TS w2w jumps, HS+TS w2w 180, backroll
working on: I don't know, so happy I just landed backroll! |
