Hokay, I got the rotation down but when it's finished I end up almost in a raley position with the rope still above my head. Any ideas on how to pull it back down properly?

Ctipping, if you do the whirly right you dont have to pull down...it comes back under you on its own _________________ www.Shadrack.com

It sounds like you may not have the handle in close to your head on your rotation. If you let your arm go straight then it will want to pull you forward like a raley. If you have it in close, then your not pushing the handle down to your lead hip when your landing. This happened to me when I was learning them, if you don't get the handle down then you will get yanked forward and never land upright and this can be sore on the ankles. Also take more of a mellow cut, the handle will be easier to keep close.

When I've tried whirlys, I can't get the rope over my head because I have to much tension in the line, I get all streched out, and land blind and lose the handle. Any tips on how to get more slack in the rope so I can get the rope over my head?

afizzle, how did you learn it on the tramp? Any advice you could give? I finally boughta tramp last week so I've been working on my spins, Tantrums to blind, raleys etc. I am not sure how to get the rotation with the tramp without having a wake to initiate. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

I read the tips on this trick, and I think I'm cutting in to hard and thats whats giving me to much line tention. I'm goin out today, so I'm gonna try to take a smaller cut, and maybe I'll get some slack in the rope to get it over my head. If anyone has anymore tips and pointers, please help.
