What's up w/this RSS stuff? I read about it on the home page, but I really don't see a need for it myself. What do you all use it for? Just curious because I've really never heard of it.

its wear you can have like articles posted on your website via rss from another website I belive

It's so you can check multiple site updates. Say you have five favorite sites and they all have rss feeds. You could subscribe to each of them and see their updates simultaneously via an rss reader. This is much more convenient than checking each site individually for updates.
