i want to try these on the trampoline, not the water. how do you get the rotation for this trick? i am having trouble picturing it in my head.
Spiderman: A heelside tantrum with a backside 360. Handle rotated over the head with the backhand. Basically a whirlybird with the back hand on the handle - Invented by Ricky Gonzales.
when you go to do it, you do the tantrum, put your back hand behind your head, and pull? maybe someone would have a video of them doing it on a trampoline or with ricky gonzales doing it on the water. thanks in advance.[/i] |

| alright, so on almost every video of someone doing a whirlybird that i've seen, they bring their front knee up to their chest. By bringing your knee to your chest it helps you spin the opposite way (front foot up for backside spin). I'm guessing ricky just did them by taking off from the wake with both hands ont he handle, then when he tantrums, he takes off his back hand and brings up his front knee. just a guess though. |

When you do them on the tramp, it's important to have both hands really close to your hip when you are taking off for the trick. Lift both hands up, and then let go with your front hand. Once the handle goes over your head, it will feel like the end of a moby dick. _________________ www.ten-80.com |
