i've had a hyperlite vero 143 and moonboots since 2000 or so, but my dad sold our boat shortly after that and i haven't been riding since, until this year. my dad recently bought another boat, and i've been riding this 6 year old package, and so have all of my friends. the bindings are ripped, so i'm going to be buying a new pair of those anyways. i want another board package for my friends, so they dont ruin my new new bindings. should i just buy some cheap bindings for the vero and let them use that and buy myself a new board and bindings? or should i use the vero with new bindings and buy a cheap board and binding package for them? what would be more economical?

im not very advanced. i can jump toeside 1 wake, but i honestly dont think you can get enough air off of our old (1973) inline 6 20ft i/o boat. i hit that thing as hard as i can and only make it about 3/4 the way across.

I think it would probably be better to treat yourself anyway. If you go to buywake.com they have good package deals with high end boards and bindings not just beginner stuff. You could buy new bindings for the Vero but it would be cheaper in the long run to get a new beginner's package. I would reccomend a CWB Sol with Mobes package. My friends were complaining about how hard my bindings were to get on so I bought this package for 260 total. If you like the ride of the Vero then new bindings will make it ten times better.

I would say get yourself a new package and then look on ebay for some bidings for your old board..
