How much air do you think i should have when i do a trantrum. Im going out tomorrow and im thinking about trying it tomorrow.

tantrums are completely different than any other invert. Start about 15 feet outside the wake and take a hard edge in. This is one trick where a progressive edge isn't neccessary. As you ride up the wake, let off your edge and open your chest to the shore, the kick your head back. The faster you edge in, the faster you will flip. 3/4 through the flip spot your landing (this is easy cuz your looking straight down at the water) and soak up the landing with your knees, edging away from the wake.

let off your edge, so stop cutting, and it will trip you over the wake

I am new to the sport But alot of my buddies go to the tramps at a gym or something. I think thats your best bet dude, save alot of time and pain.

Opening up to the shore mean: When you are cutting towards the wake your chest faces the boat.. when you reach the trough on a tantrum you want to move your head and your shoulders so they are parallel with wake and your facing the shore. This puts you in the position to get 'tripped' by the wake and to flip rail over rail rather than end over end.
