| I was looking at this board, its a hyperlite and it says horizon on the lower front and then hyperliteon the bottom but i have never heard of it. I was wondering if anyone knew if the board was any good and what the value of it might be. |

| yes i've seen those...they arpretty old and heavy, but the boots will be fine. I personally wouldn't go for the board because it is an outdated design and is very heavy |

so it was a bad impulse buy... i saw it at sportmart and decided i wanted to give wakeboarding a try. Sticker said $299 but ended up only paying 230. I spose i'll go return it and try and find a better board then.
Thanks
*edit*
WOW way to many choices of boards to pick from..... maybe i'll just pick up an O'Brien since thats the kind of ski's and vest i have....... |

Horarik, don't limit yourself...read reviews, demo, ask shops whats good etc.
Liquid Force, CWB, Hyperlite, O'brien, Gator, Doubleup etc all have boards that vary in styles and shapes, pick one thats best for you. |

If I were you I would go with the Hyperlite Vero, or whatever it is called in 05. I bought one last year when I started riding and it had the spin bindings on it. I loved it. I just bought a new Parks and I still jerk out the vero when I want to just play around. Its a board that I feel won't limit you as you progress. I loved mine and I give it TWO BIG THUMBS UP! _________________ Holly Bay All The Way! |

The Vero is the same board I started on 5 years ago. I think it's a GREAT board to learn on. Since then I rode a Byerly for 2.5 years up until last week when I broke it landing on a buoy. So, now I'm on a CWB Absolute 141 and LOVE IT! _________________
