that's a long drive -- I drive two miles to the marina (Union Lake MI)-- butter in the morning -- usually choppy by noon. Nice again in the evenings around 7.

I've heard michigan has some nice lakes (saw some pictures). I ride around Houston area, and try to go up to trinity river as often as possible. Best riding in texas. 40 ft deep, plenty wide enough, and miles and miles of river so you dont have to turn around.

I used to live in Upper Michigan on Lake Superior. The lake is so big that as long as the wind wasnt blowing you would have no trouble finding all the butter you wanted as long as you could deal with the cold water. Now I live in Louisiana where unfortunately the lakes and rivers arent very big and they get crowded way too fast.

mobe789 - What lake are you riding on in NC? Or was that a typo? Didn't think we had any lakes here that were only a two mile ride from Orlando. Sorry, not trying to be a smart***.

I ride in the Mediterranean sea, and it's really difficult to get good conditions. If not, I ride in a little lake two hours away.

I can drive 5 miles to get to the intercoastal (salty sometimes) or 80 miles to get to a nice freshwater lake. I've never chosen the intercoastal.

NAW - Boardracks on a golf cart. That's freakin sweet! But I gotta say, that custom horn off the steering wheel is what really makes that a pimp ride. Cool

You should get a lift kit for that golf cart, and put some big tires on it.

Here is a few pics from my secret spot on my lake. The second is from Memorial day and is the choppiest water that had ever been there. Not bad.

Nacimiento, San Antonio, The Delta (orwood usualy), McClure, Don Pedro, Anderson, this weekend i'm going to New Hogan and next weekend maybe New Malones, if not then McClure.

Naci i only 45 min from my house, San Anton is 1.5 hours, the rest of them mean i'm riding my sport bike 2.5 hours back to my parrents house in Santa Cruz, then driving to the lake. then somehow making it back to SLO for school.

All over California, and if we're desperate, a private slalom lake right over the hill from my house.

Well, it's a private, developed section of a river that runs by our house. It's damned up, and maintains a depth of 3.5-4 feet with a lined bottom. The water is super clean, super smooth, and the line is super straight, but the depth sucks the life out of your wake.
