I was checking out the website....the Graffix looks cool...almost like a Byerly mold. I can't tell from the pic if it has molded in fins or not. Ryan Doyles new pro model sounds like a good size for me also, but no pics on the website yet. Anyone riding these boards? What's the word on the streets? _________________ You might think you know. |

Nevermind. The Graffix is basically a wood ply similair to the Cassette/LF concaves. Still curious about the new Doyle if anyone knows... _________________ You might think you know. |

| I rode with Doyle about a month and a half ago. He was riding a prototype skate for his new model. I personally didnt ride it, but my boss did. She said it was real loose but still held its edge. thats all the info i have. |

It sounds like they're still working on it. Come on GB - step it up, summer is here and time is money and money is riding time! _________________ You might think you know. |

Probably true Nick, but we could all use a little more. ha ha
It seems like every wakeskate manufacturer is struggling to keep up with demand. The '05 Byerly is backordered and I noticed that a lot of the new Kampus boards were also.
I would be pressing the issue (pun intended) with my manufacturer if I ran a board company. You gotta strike while the iron is hot baby. _________________ You might think you know. |

The 05 kampus won't come out until the 06 season and I have no idea what's up with the 05 byerly, maybe the sweatshops in Asia are on strike or something. But seriously Gator is rich as eff and his dad is even richer. _________________ ...island style... |

"maybe the sweatshops in Asia are on strike or something" LOL That was one of my theories. It sucks that they aren't made in the USA, but it's a dam nice ride. My buddy has one - I've ridden it a few times and I liked it (I wish they made one a hair smaller), but he is totally loving it.
Yes, we all know Eric's dad has $, but I like to think that at this stage in his entreprenuerial adventures that he is self-sufficient and not relying on pops' fortunes. Anyways, it's not polite to talk about other peoples money.
That sucks about the Kampus boards...I'd like to try that smaller Wahlman, but I may try and pick up a K39 in the meantime. I've been riding an '03 Byerly (107) mostly and it's decent, but the tail is too narrow. The K looks like it has mad pop with those fat tips. _________________ You might think you know. |
