Slider in the works

My friend and I were checking out this board last week and we got an idea for a slider from that guy who posted about making one in South Africa. Well last weekend we got started on our funbox/slider and got the middle section done. It is 8 ft wide and going to be about 36 feet long.

Below are some pics of it in construction (disregard the loose wood on top, I had to get it out of the driveway before we left for the weekend). There is also a pic from the Reno Tour stop which hopefully our slider will resemble.

Also if anyone has any idea of where I can purchase some 3" pvc inside connectors for the rail that is going to be on it that would be awesome. Also what material can I use to put over the plywood besides the PVC sheeting. That stuff is really expensive and we already have about 250-300 bucks into this thing and am looking to not spend more than 100 for the top sheeting. Would linoleum (sp?) work?

Anyways I will definitely get some more pics when it is complete and will post some video when we hit it.
