Lake Shasta - T-minus 4 days and counting

Can't wait to go, 9 days with nothing to worry about except whether to ride again or have another beer. The standard answer seemed to be both last year, should expect more of the same this year. Anyone else going to be there the 11th through 19th?

Jolson, we don't have an assigned address yet (that's what I'm driving up there to do)...but from the northbound offramp next to the Shell station, take a left under the freeway, and look straight ahead. You'll be looking right at our place, but the gate is about 15 yards over if you take a right at the T in the road, versus going left to Shasta Lake RV. Great directions, eh? I haven't a clue what the road names are around there.

jryoung, duty calls, however it does makes the next trip that much better. Very Happy

Just got back from being up there for 4 days. I chose the drinking method. Too much wind for my liking. But we had plenty of booze to keep me happy for days.

Jolson, so this guy came in to the shop to buy his girl a vest. i thought he looked familiar and he was going on this 9 day shasta trip. when i saw his credit card (that said USC on it) it reminded me of his name. jay. that jackass then proceeded to tell me allllllll about how great his trip is going to be. fuker! scotta Renee and I looked into them, cheap ones are around $5-700, a model similar to that pictured above is around $2500-3000. Don't ask me why, I was shocked when I first found out.

Is anyone still there?

We left today around 11. Figured we would go back in a few weeks when it's not 50 degrees and pooring rain. Oh well, got a good 10 hours of lake time and 12 hours of driving time. Confused

Saw the gray/white VLX at Shasta Lake RV, and I think I saw it down at the docks mid-day Wednesday.

Also think I saw chaz28 and his Supreme heading north around Stockton when I was driving home...eh? You out there, man? Razz
