I like Jeter, I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Let alone someone that lives and dies by his athletic ability. I hope he has a great rehab doc and gets the best treatment.

How can anyone hate Jeter? I hate the Yankees with a passion only a Red Sox fan can have, but Jeter is pure class. I just wish he wasn't so damn good.

jeter is the man!!! all u people who hate the yanks have no reason too. they are an awesome team. whether or not jeter is here... they're still gunna kick a$$!! i hope that clemens retires after this year so that pettitte can become the starting pitcher... he's some serious eye-candy...

Ummmm....Aubs, you may want to stick to football. Pettitte IS a starting pitcher...each team has 5 of them and Pettitte will never be a number 1. He started and won yesterday's game vs. Toronto.

The reason everyone hates the Yankmes is because they are the spoiled little rich pricks of the baseball world (and we are all jealous of that). Plus, I lived in Mass during middle school and NH during HS, so the Red Sox/Yankme rivalry hits close to home.

just to clarify i'm not a yankees fan. i like the astros but i really don't follow baseball that much. find it boring to watch unless your there in person.

Jeter will be back this season...but he will have a terrible year. If you have ever seperated a shoulder, you know it takes FOREVER to fully heal. He is a tough guy and will try, but I will bet he doesn't hit over .280 (if even close).

Sox closers? What closers? You got a closer we can use?
