Whats up fellas? Have any of you started riding yet? Any clue on the water temps on Anna or any of the other riding spots around Ric?

Secound Question... How do you work your shops demo days? I really want to hook up with you guys and go ride. I Have been looking to ride with some better riders for a while now. It is hard to progress when you spend all day teaching w2w jumps. Its all cool, but I want to put a few more tricks in my bag.
If one of you wants to take a day to just go ride, I'll bring my boat and use it as a chase boat.

I'm not a team rider, but I've been to enough of their clinics to know. Go to their website, get on the mailing list, and you'll get all of the info. They usually send out notice to the wakelist, too. They fill up fast so don't wait to sign up. I don't think they've published their clinic schedule for this summer yet, but in the latest WBM they had all of their contests scheduled. Last year their first clinic was LF Trip Across America, it was the first or second weekend of May on the Chik, Gregg Necrasson was there.

www.annapoint.com reports that the water temp at Anna is in the mid 50's. I haven't been out yet.

Thanks Lindsay. I think you were the first to jump on my idea of having a bash on the Rappahanock River last year, right? Sorry, but that never panned out. Too much time I dont have to plan it. Have you ridden this year yet? Do you have any idea what the water temps are. I am going to look it up online, but the temps are usually a few degrees warmer than posted.
I dont think I am going to fight for a spot with people that dont have a chance to go. But thanks for the info. anyway.
Were you at Preston / DoingFlipsDavis? You guys ridden yet?

whats up brad. sorry i've been really busy lately. i've ridden probably 6 or 7 times this year. the water on SML is still pretty chilly. last weekend i think it finally broke into the 50's. its definitely warm enough to go riding but you might want to invest in a wetsuit if you dont have one. everyone should also come to SML june 8th and august something (can't remember ??) for the GnP tournaments. SML is a sick lake and GnP puts on an awesome tournament. they'll also have other tournaments on lake anna, lake gaston, and a few others.

hey brad whats up, this is Ryan, i Ride on the rappahanock River, i ride in paskataway(SP!) creek to be specific! i go to school here in Wilmington NC, but i am coming home and riding there around easter if u need a ride. my cell is 804-240-6700. if u need to want to ride. But me a a buddy of mine are also putting on a wakeboard tournament here in wilmington, is going to be bad ass from how everything is panning out! you should try and come check it out!! its on April 26th, the weekend after easter.. we are going to be having bands food and everything at this tournament.and then afterwards an after party with 4 different bands and like a huge TV that shows the tournament! and like the surf has been really good lately we are going to try and get a bunch of guys out on sunday to surf for a while!! its going to be a great weekend..but if u need a ride ever during the summer either just give me a ring. always happy to take people out..

Ryan...Just went back and read your post. Wish we could have gotten in touch before we planned our weekends. I know we pull close to 150+ riders and not sure how many people that just show up to see all of us ride. Not only wakeboarders, but also some hydrofoil guys also. Maybe next year we can work something out to get things together. Ride one everyone!!!

hey man i the clinics do fill up fast so if you wanna get in there.. give them a call.. as of now im not sure if they have posted the dates of the clinics.. so i dunno about when they are.. i have been riding at least everyweekend here in march and now im riding during the weeks.. at sml it got up to 59 and then for some reason we had a cold spell and got like 4 inches of snow and i went riding yesturday and the temp went down to like 52,..but all this week it has been in the 70-80's air temp so that should warm it up..... hey bill if i go to the contests on sat in wilimgton do you think i could check up on easter at hyco on sunday.. like after the contests drive back up to hyco that night and then ride sunday? i was thinking about that but i didnt know how many people would be riding on sunday.. thanks man

Hey bill, yeah its a shame it was on the same weekend but it was the only time the park would allow us to do it b/c there was a weeding there every other weekend..But we plan on doing another tournament in August, and maybe we can work something out with you on that tournament! well hope everything up there goes well...

i usually spend the summer in VA, i am usually down at the river wakebording 2 or 3 times during the week and Always down on te river on Fri, Sat and Sun. so i am down there wakeboarding alot, and if ur ever down there and see a Red and White Toyota Epic S22, thats me! just in case you see me riding around..

Hello....

If you guys wanna come up after the tourney that would be a GREAT idea. Saturday nights is always a good time. Starting at 6pm, we are having a free cookout with hotdogs, hamburgers and sodas. After that we have a band of course and Adam Fields (G&P rider) doing some solo guitar. In between all of that we will be having a huge swag give away from sponsors like Liquid Force, Straightline, JetPilot, Obrien and much more. Sunday morning will be the second day we are doing a clinic. The clinic will be from 9am till about noon or so. The cool part about the clinic is that Collin Wright will be teaching it. If nothing else, come up for the day just to see him ride! There will certainly be people riding all day, not as many as Saturday, but still will be a lot of people here. Any questions, please just ask.
