So I figured I ask you what you guys thought I should get for a board I have had an old board for a while and haven't had a boat for about 4 years so never felt I should get a new board. I'm a newbie for the most part I can basically just jump the wake, spin a little, and do a back revert (not pretty but I can land it every now and then). I'm 6'2" 225lbs, I'm not fat just a big guy if that makes a difference, what size of board should I be looking at or what board do you recommend I look at? Anyone care to point me in the right direction? Thank you.

look at something bigger than a 140, with nice cushiony bindings, like the LF transits or something....Look into the Substance 142 or Omega 143

If your a big guy like that I suggest a big board. If you look at it guys like Darin Shapiro(5'2" or 3") rides a 140 so you should definately look at the big boards big man. Good luck in the search. Also try checking out SOS for the best deal. They hook me up all the time. I dont have their website address on me but just google it. Hunter

I went and bought a Hydroslide Backdraft. Its my first board and I'm beginning to think its a piece of crap? What do you think? I couldnt hit sliders with it, could I? And if I did, I'd have to take my fins off, right? hehe Cool

well, then why does it look different than all the slider boards I've seen? Plus it has fins on it. I should just take them off, huh? Plus the first Hydroslide Backdraft I got broke within 15 mins after I got it out on the lake. I didnt even hit anything. It must've been a defective one cuz this new one seems to be tougher but I'm kind of wary about hitting sliders. I dont want to bust the damn thing. Cool

YES!!!!!!!!! I have one and is a piece of $h!t. PLEASE, for your own sake get off it. Buy something else, ANYTHING else. Even the bindings are crap.
