WHat are your thoughts on the LF HELIX????

I scored a Old Helix 136 this past winter. I've ridden the board a handful of times. I'm not sure if it me or what but it seem to be kinda slugish. My last board was a 134 belmont. maybe i just need to get used to it or maybe this is a really slow board

Is anyone still riding this board, and what do you guys think of it?

It's known to be a slow board....I rode one for a season and liked how loose it was.... It's a good board to learn spins on cuz it will release off the wake supper easy and lands nice with the ability to save a few sketchy ones. Some people don't like how loose it is..change the fins around..to lock it in more...

Some people just can't cut TS with that board, they either get no edge or feel they have no edge and come in way too strong. I had a great TS edge with that board but had to ride it with my feet out as far as I could get them for some reason. I like my feet a little closer in than all the way out....

I try almost every shape at least once, I liked it but moved on to stuff more my style. I rode the 03 season on a different board every time out and I go a lot....

thanks J_DOGG, I hear what your saying.
I like the looseness of the board, but i'm really feeling the slowness of the board coming in on my toeside. I'll try maxing out my stance and see how that goes.

Yeah - you need to ride that board real tail heavy to get it to ride correctly...
